Why Was My Transaction Blocked With a Security Warning?
Bankr checks tokens and transactions for known risks before they run, and stops the ones it flags. If you saw a security warning, the transaction was blocked by that check.
Why It Happens
Bankr scans tokens with Blockaid before a swap and simulates transactions before they go on-chain. Tokens flagged as malicious are blocked, and other warnings can stop a transaction too. The error names the reason, for example unverified_contract.
Check Your Wallet
To confirm what happened, look up your wallet on the network's block explorer (for example Basescan for Base). If there's no transaction for that attempt in your history, nothing went through.
If You Didn't Expect It
Stop if you were asked to approve or send tokens by a link, a DM, or someone you don't know. That's what the check is for. It can't catch everything, either: brand-new scam tokens may not be flagged yet, so always verify contract addresses from official sources.
Think It's a False Positive?
Submit one ticket through the Help Center form so the team can take a look. Include:
Your wallet address
The chain
Every contract involved (the token and the spender or target)
The exact error text
The approximate time of the attempt
Where you ran it: terminal, X, Telegram, CLI, API or a skill
A review doesn't guarantee the transaction will be allowed.
