How Do I Send Crypto to Someone?
Sending Crypto with Bankr
Bankr makes it easy to send tokens to anyone — just describe what you want to send, how much, and where it should go. No need to copy-paste long wallet addresses if you don't want to.
How to Send a Transfer
Just tell Bankr what to send in plain English. Here are some examples:
send 0.05 ETH to 0x1234...abcdsend $50 of USDC to vitalik.ethsend 100 BNKR to @bankrbot on basetransfer $25 of ETH from base to my wallet on polygon
Supported Recipients
You can send to:
- Wallet addresses — paste any valid EVM or Solana address
- ENS names — like
vitalik.ethordeployer.eth. Bankr resolves them automatically - Twitter/X handles — Bankr looks up the wallet linked to their Bankr account
Cross-Chain Transfers
Need to move funds between chains? Bankr handles bridging for you:
swap $50 USDC from polygon to ETH on basebridge 0.1 ETH from ethereum to base
Cross-chain transfers use bridge aggregators and may take a few minutes to settle depending on the chains involved.
Which Chains Support Transfers?
Transfers work across all nine supported chains: Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Unichain, World Chain, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Solana, and Hyperliquid. Gas is sponsored on Base, Polygon, Unichain, World Chain, and BNB Chain — on other chains, you'll need a small balance for gas fees.
Tips
- If you don't specify a chain, Bankr picks the one where you have the highest balance
- Bankr always asks for confirmation before sending — you'll see the recipient, amount, and chain before anything goes through
- Every transfer goes through Bankr's security layer, which checks for malicious addresses and phishing attempts
Common Issues
- "Insufficient balance" — make sure you have enough of the token on the chain you're sending from
- "Could not resolve name" — double-check the ENS name or Twitter handle
- Transfer stuck — cross-chain bridges can take a few minutes. Ask Bankr to check the status
