Bankr Club & Max Mode

Bankr's free tier gives you 5 messages per day on the terminal. For more, you need a Bankr Club subscription or Max Mode credits — and you can use both together: Club for everyday use, Max Mode when you want to pick the exact model.

Best for

Daily chat, trading, research

Complex tasks where you want to choose a specific model

What Club Includes

  • Unlimited messages on the terminal and social platforms

  • Up to 20 concurrent automations (recurring commands, limit/stop/DCA/TWAP orders)

  • Browser sessions, advanced research, and analytics

  • Up to 10 gas-sponsored token deploys per day (vs 3 for non-members)

  • Early access to new features and the private Bankr Club chat

Subscribing to Bankr Club

Ask Bankr in chat:

Subscribe to Bankr Club

It'll walk you through payment. Default is USDC — to pay with a different token (BNKR, ETH, or any Base ERC-20), just say so and it's swapped to USDC at checkout. Yearly ($198/yr) is the better deal if you use Bankr every day. Check your status anytime:

what is my Club status?

Note: Club subscriptions require an embedded Bankr wallet (auto-created when you sign in with email, X, Farcaster, or Telegram). External/connected wallets (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet) can't subscribe — use Max Mode instead, which works with any wallet.

Note: Original Bankr Club NFTs from the initial drop are commemorative collectibles — they do not grant membership. Subscribe through chat.

Upgrades, Transfers & Gifts

  • Monthly → yearly: ask Bankr Upgrade to yearly Bankr Club. You pay the full yearly price ($198) and your remaining monthly time stacks on top — nothing you've paid for is lost. Yearly terms can't be downgraded back to monthly until they expire.

  • Transfers: memberships can't be transferred to another account. You can cancel auto-renewal (benefits run to the end of the billing period) or use the gift flow to pay for a new subscription for someone else.

Using Max Mode

Web: click the Max button above the chat input, then pick your model.

CLI:

bankr "analyze my portfolio" --model <model-name>

The web terminal supports every gateway model. The CLI validates --model against a built-in list — run bankr llm models to see what your version accepts, and update with bun install -g @bankr/cli if a newly launched model isn't accepted yet.

Your Max Mode choice syncs across every surface (web, X, Telegram, CLI, automations).

Adding LLM Credits

Credits are denominated in USDC:

"add $25 in LLM credits"

Web: bankr.bot/llm?tab=credits

CLI:

bankr llm credits # check balance bankr llm credits add 25 # add $25 bankr llm credits auto --enable # auto top-up

What Happens If Credits Run Out?

Max Mode is gated on your effective balance — spendable credit minus usage that has been metered but not yet settled. Usage is priced per LLM call and settled by a background worker, so a run you just finished can still be pending against your balance.

  • Before a message starts: if your effective balance is at or below zero, Bankr replies "you don't have enough LLM credits to use Max Mode" and the message does not run on a premium model. On X it quietly falls back to the base model instead of replying publicly.

  • Partway through a message: Max Mode stops as soon as spend reaches your balance rather than running on — you get "i ran out of max mode credits partway through this", what it spent, and any transactions that were already submitted. Your progress is saved in the thread: top up at bankr.bot/llm and ask Bankr to continue.

  • Automations: a scheduled run that can't afford Max Mode is skipped and recorded in the automation's history. After 3 consecutive credit failures the automation is paused and you're notified.

Usage your balance can't cover isn't written off — it stays owed and settles out of your next top-up, so adding credits may clear a debt before it buys new headroom. Enable auto top-up to avoid running dry mid-task.

FAQ

Do I need both? No. Either one unlocks full access. Most users start with Club.

Can Club members use Max Mode too? Yes. They stack — Club covers everyday unlimited messaging, and Max Mode lets you run a specific premium model of your choice on top.

Model discounts? Yes. Check bankr.bot/llm for active promos.

What about free tier? You get 5 free messages per day on the terminal (resets at UTC midnight), on the fast standard model. Token launches, browser tools, apps, and @bankrbot replies on X require Club or Max Mode.
