My Cross-Chain Bridge or Transfer Is Stuck. What Do I Do?
Give it a few minutes, then check both chains' block explorers with your wallet address. Most bridges finish on their own, and if a bridge fails, the bridge provider refunds it. Don't send the same bridge again while the first one is still pending.
How Long It Usually Takes
Bankr bridges through Relay, and watches each bridge for about a minute after sending it. If it hasn't settled by then, Bankr reports it as submitted but still pending. That's not a failure; it can still land. Hyperliquid deposits usually arrive within about a minute, and withdrawals from Hyperliquid take a few minutes and land on Arbitrum.
Check Where Your Funds Are
Look up your wallet address on the source chain's explorer to confirm the transaction went out, for example Basescan for Base or Etherscan for Ethereum.
Then check the destination chain's explorer for the incoming funds.
Ask Bankr
what are my balances?Balances can lag a few minutes, so the explorer is the source of truth.
Failed or Refunded Bridges
If the bridge provider can't complete a bridge, it refunds the funds. Bankr tells you when a bridge was refunded or failed, with the reason if one was given. Bankr can't cancel or speed up a transaction once it's on-chain.
Common Causes of Failed Bridges
No gas on Ethereum: Ethereum gas is never sponsored, so you need ETH beyond what you're bridging.
Amount too small: the bridge provider has minimums. Hyperliquid deposits need at least 5 USDC.
No route: try bridging native ETH instead of another token.
Price moved: cross-chain swaps use 1% slippage by default, so quotes can expire in a fast market. Try again.
