Why Link Accounts?

Linking backup logins to your wallet means you can access the same wallet from multiple platforms — and if you lose access to your primary login, your funds aren't locked.

How to Link

Log into bankr.bot → Settings → add your email, Farcaster, or Telegram as a backup login. Once linked, any of those methods access the same wallet.

The Rules

An account can only be linked to your wallet if it isn't already tied to another social login. The account you want to add needs to be "clean" — only its primary login, no additional linked socials.

Example

You're logged in with X and want to link your Farcaster. But your Farcaster already has an email attached. Before you can link it:

1. Log into Bankr via Farcaster

2. Remove the linked email

3. Go back and link it to your X account

Common Problems

Linking keeps failing: The account you're trying to link probably has another social already connected. Follow the steps above to clean it first.

Two wallets with different logins: Your X and email were signed up separately, creating two wallets. Log into the wallet with your assets → Settings → link your other login as backup.

Can I unlink my X account? No — your wallet is permanently tied to the X account that created it. You can add backup logins but can't detach the original.
